So who are we?
At the moment the entire staff of Tea Logic consists of three people, Mike and David and Chris. Our high stress jobs as equities traders and entrepreneurs led us to discover the benefits and varieties of tea. What with crazy oil prices, sub-prime woes, and economic uncertainty, its enough to make business men and women want to pull their hair out at the end of each day. We needed something that could pick us up in the morning, relax us at the end of the day. With a little self realization we took a llook into our own past and found the finest beverage in the world.

What made us start a tea business?
Well, with the all of us being first generation Asian Americans, we naturally gravitated towards tea as our beverage of choice. Growing up, we were both exposed to the art of drinking tea by our parents and grandparents, BUT as we grew older and Starbucks got bigger, we deviated from tea because, well, its just wasn't the cool thing to drink. Now, a little older and a little wiser, we are revisiting our tea drinking past to realize that our parents were right and that we could care less if coffee was cooler than tea. So like good Internet savvy consumers, we hopped online and tried to buy premium high quality loose-leaf tea. Seems pretty simple, right? Boy were be wrong. Fine grade, choicest grade, special grade, imperial grade, first grade, low grade, high grade, and a host of useless acronyms. Who cares?!?! What ever happened to enjoying tea for its flavor and its benefits regardless of grade or price. In our humble opinion we would rather drink something because it taste good and not because a “tea master” across the ocean thinks that his taste buds are some how better than ours. So like the diligent people that we are we went looking for tea from the source and finally formed MyTeaLogic.com, dedicated to bringing confused tea drinkers like ourselves quality tea without all the confusion.

So if we didn't rely on a grading scale, how did we find the best teas?
The answer is simple, we sourced only the teas we liked; relying on our own good ole taste buds (and maybe some of our friends too). We meticulously tasted and selected the best green teas, white teas, black teas,organic teas, and special blended “flavored” teas, searching out reliable tea plantations who could deliver the best quality tea, hence the wide variety of teas we carry. We even went as far as Taiwan to secure the freshest teas for our consumers. Mytealogic.com provides a one stop shop for all your tea needs including tea samplers if you aren't quite sure what to try, as well as our hand-made gourmet chocolates infused with green tea (for the ladies out there), and teawares (coming soon), so you can enjoy our teas morning, noon and night - we really did think of everything!
